Producers Agreement

New Appointments

Anchor Bay is accepting new appointments in all of the 13 states in which we do business (*Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawai'i, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington & Wyoming). Additionally, we are accepting new appointment requests from agents in the other 37 states as well - with the understanding that agreements will not be returned, and business will not be conducted, until such time as we have completed the licensing process in each state.

We seek retail producers with integrity, professionalism, a habit of paying their bills on time and generally pleasant personalities -- and we strive to meet those same standards ourselves. We are particularly interested in working with professional agents with a high level of expertise in the lines of coverage that they are marketing.

Commercial Insurance Experience:

As a general rule, we will consider new appointments from only those who meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • Have a minimum of three years of commercial insurance sales, or
  • Have a minimum of $300,000 in commercial lines premium, or
  • Have other demonstrable evidence of significant commercial lines experience and expertise such as having been a Commercial Lines underwriter with an expertise in the classes that you are targeting.

We have set no production requirements per se, focusing instead on creating long-term, working relationships.
