Announcing Anchor Bay's new…

Multi-Carrier Quoting System (MCQS) ©

Now offering up to 6 CGL quotes; usually within 24 hours!!!

Currently quoting to a 62% hit ratio!!!

Tired of having to submit applications to 4 General Agents-with all of the supplemental applications and follow-ups that each submission entails - just to get 3 quotes to show to your insured?

For GL Binding Authority business quoted in our new system, we will now provide:

  • Up to 6 quotes (exact number varies by class code and state)
  • A completed premium finance agreement with each quote
  • Completed TRIA and (where applicable) Due Diligence forms
  • A proposal for your Insured with each quote
And we don't just quote new business in MCQS;
we quote renewals there too.
Can you name another GA that shops its own small CGL renewals
so that you're not blindsided by a competitor?

Further, we will usually do all this within 24 hours of receipt of a fully completed application. And to top it off, we are currently paying 15% commission on new non-contractors quoted in this system!!!*

Why are we doing all this? Our secret plan is to defeat the competition by eliminating your need to even go to the competition. If we can provide all the quotes that you need without requiring you to jump through all the hoops that you currently have to jump through in order to get multiple quotes, then game's over - we win. We win because you win.

The fact is, General Agency placed business isn't really profitable for retail agents. It takes more work for you to place this business than it does standard market business and you usually get half the commission. One of the big reasons for that is that General Agents generally only provide you with one quote - so you are forced to go all over town to get the rest of the quotes that you need in order to demonstrate to your client that you've shopped their account and earned both their trust and your commission.

Service is measured in file-touches and keystrokes. We have implemented a "one-stop shopping" approach - one which is designed to drastically reduce your file touches and keystrokes. You go to one general agent - Anchor Bay - fill out one application and get all the quotes you need. And we usually quote it quickly enough that you don't even have to follow up with phone calls, etc. File touches and keystrokes...

By eliminating file touches and keystrokes, and by paying a higher average commission, we are making General Agency placed business profitable for you again.

While most competitors require you to modify your workflow
processes to meet their needs;
we are designing our workflow processes around your needs.

Why on earth would you ever go anywhere else?

Existing clients are invited to submit applications to their current underwriter by whatever means is convenient. New clients are encouraged to submit applications to mcqs-apps@surpluslines.com.

Some of our most common supplemental applications are...
