Washington State.... Legislative RecommendationsOn December 7, 2011, we sent to the Commissioner a list of 13 Legislative Recommendations. These recommendations are principally concerned with the financial auditing process and with the laws that underlie that process. In our view, the laws are a mess and the process is a mess as well. As such, we have challenged the Commissioner to work with the PIA, the Big I and the SLA of Washington in cleaning up these messes.
